Historic Governance and Scientific Input to the Initiative
Governance 2006 to 2010 - Informatics Management Board
The Informatics Management Board (IMB) was implemented as part of the Implementation Plan covering the period 2006 to 2010. The terms of reference for the Board were essentially to monitor progress against the plan, to consider and, if appropriate, agree funding for recommendations from the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel, and to provide a forum to which the Unit Director was accountable.

Task Force
The Task Force was convened and chaired by Professor Richard Begent of the Royal Free and University College Medical School, London. Its aim was to provide a forum for consultation with the scientific, medical and informatics communities in general, but most importantly it served to frame the scope and direction of the Implementation Plan phase from 2007 to 2010.
